However, I realised Im wrong when I went to http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/singaporeseen/index.jsp. Those ugly acts of Singaporean are all posted in there. Like how some people pretended to sleep when they saw a pregnant woman standing in front of them in a crowded train. I was pregnant twice. But everytime people that I met are very kind and caring. Looking at my stomach and size, they immediatly gave up their seats to me. Be it elderly or grown-ups. At times I even felt guilty when some of the aunties gave up their seats to me. Still, I felt happy that at least people would bother to give up their seats than just ignoring the scene.
Just what's wrong with the society we're living in? Abandoned pets are getting more and more and yet some people are to the extent of killing them. Though Im not a cat lover but when I look at the photo of the dead cat, I would still feel hurt for it. They didn't do anything to hurt us isn't it? They are part of our society too. Without them to catch mice, guess mice would be everywhere around us. They can be your friend too, someone you could confide in. So why kill them? The murderers ought to be guilty and feel shameful for killing for fun.
Is the society changing or the people living in it changing? For the sake of money, some can just betray their friends or themselves. Why bother to be the slaves of money. True enough, money could be important. Money is important to me too. Everyone depend on it to survive. But why, make yourself that desperate? In order to buy branded stuffs or just for the sake of showing?
Well, this is kind of random and emotional. But it just reflects how some Singaporean acts.
